HALF CUTTING METHOD

To provide a half cutting method for efficiently cutting a cutting object in half in a short time.SOLUTION: A half cutting method includes: attaching at least one of cradles 40 and 40A for laterally supporting an axis of a cutting object 12, which is at least one of a prism, piping, a bent pipe, piping with a flange, and a valve, to a feed bar 60 so that an opened surface of the cutting object 12 extends along a direction orthogonal to an advance/retreat direction or the advance/retreat direction, and holdingly fixing the cutting object 12 to main surfaces or ends of the cradles 40 and 40A by fixing means attached to the cradles 40 and 40A; moving the feed bar 60 with the cradles 40 and 40A attached thereto in parallel with the axis of the cutting object 12; cutting out the cutting object 12 with cutting means 20 whose saw blade is directed laterally; and supporting, on the feed bar 60, an upper side of the cutting object 12 after being cut out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 【課題】切断対象物を短時間で効率良く半割に切断する半割切断方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の半割切断方法は、柱体、配管、曲げ管、フランジ付配管、バルブのうちいずれか１つ以上の切断対象物１２の軸を横向きに支持する受け台４０，４０Ａを、前記切断対象物１２の開口面が進退方向と直交する方向又は進退方向に沿うように送り台６０に１つ以上取り付けて、前記受け台４０，４０Ａに取り付けた固定手段で前記受け台４０，４０Ａの主面又は端部に前記切断対象物１２を挟持して固定する工程と、前記受け台４０，４０Ａを取り付けた送り台６０を前記切断対象物１２の軸と平行に移動する工程と、鋸刃を横向きにした切断手段２０で前記切断対象物１２を切断する工程と、前記切断した後の上側の前記切断対象物１２を前記送り台６０上で支持する工程と、を有することを特徴としている。【選択図】図１３
