To support traverse, according to a traverse direction selected by a pedestrian, for proper traverse support which matches an intention of the pedestrian.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a traffic signal controller 3 for executing traverse support of a pedestrian 4. The traffic signal controller 3 comprises: a communication part 33 for receiving a traverse direction selected by the pedestrian 4 out of plural traverse directions of a cross point J, from a portable terminal 5 of the pedestrian 4; and a control part 31 capable of executing, in the plural traverse directions of the cross point J, traverse support which contains, at least one of first support and second support which are described in the following, and executing the traverse support in the traverse direction received on the communication part 33.
