Zusammenfassung:	To provide a certificate verification device, a certificate verification method, and a certificate verification program for efficiently supporting determination for validity of certificates such as a driving license.SOLUTION: A verification support server 20 includes: a pattern information storage unit 23 recording a registered letter pattern of a letter included in a certificate in association with a delivery area and a delivery period of a certificate; and a control unit 21 connected to a user terminal 10. The control unit 21 acquires, from the user terminal 10, an image of a certificate to be verified, recognizes a letter included in the image, specifies the delivery area and the delivery period of the certificate, acquires, from the pattern information storage unit 23, the registered letter pattern associated with the delivery area and the delivery period, specifies a used letter pattern by use of the image of the certificate, compares the used letter pattern with the registered letter pattern, and outputs, to the user terminal 10, information related to validity of the certificate on the basis of results of the comparison.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】運転免許証等の証明書の有効性について、効率的な判定を支援するための証明書検証装置、証明書検証方法及び証明書検証プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】検証支援サーバ２０は、証明書の交付地域及び交付期間に関連付けて、証明書に含まれる文字の登録文字パターンを記録したパターン情報記憶部２３と、ユーザ端末１０とに接続された制御部２１とを備える。制御部２１が、ユーザ端末１０から、検証対象の証明書の画像を取得し、画像に含まれる文字を認識し、証明書の交付地域及び交付時期を特定し、パターン情報記憶部２３から、交付地域及び交付時期に関連付けられた登録文字パターンを取得し、証明書の画像を用いて使用文字パターンを特定し、使用文字パターンと登録文字パターンとを比較し、比較結果に基づいて、証明書の有効性に関する情報をユーザ端末１０に出力する。【選択図】図１
