Zusammenfassung:	To provide a glass electrode that is hard to break, easy to handle, capable of improving production efficiency, and reducing costs.SOLUTION: A glass electrode (2) comprises: a flat sensitive glass body (2a) which has ion sensitivity; a base (2b) composed of a glass tube which houses measuring electrode liquid (S1); and a fixed layer (2c2) which seals the sensitive glass body (2a) to an end face (2b1) of the base (2b).
