To provide a preferable roller bearing which can be protected from a corrosive fluid.SOLUTION: An outer ring (5) which fits in a housing (1) includes: a cylindrical part (51) in which an inner peripheral surface forms a raceway surface; and a flange part (52) provided at an axial end part of the cylindrical part (51). The flange part (52) has a protruding part (52b) which is disposed at a spacing from an inner peripheral surface of the housing (1) and protrudes to the axial outer side further than a position of an axial end part of the cylindrical part (51).
