Zusammenfassung: | To provide a maintenance method of an inkjet recording device which is excellent in a wipeout property of a nozzle face, a discharge property of an ink after maintenance, and a non-coagulation property of the ink caused by a waste liquid of a maintenance liquid, and performs printing by using a latex ink.SOLUTION: A maintenance method of an inkjet recording device includes: a process for making a maintenance liquid adhere to a wiper member having a water retention property; and a process for wiping a nozzle face at which a discharge port for discharging a latex ink of an ink head of an inkjet recording device is formed by using a wiper member to which the maintenance liquid adheres. The maintenance liquid includes at least one kind of an organic solvent selected from a group which is composed of water, propylene glycol, a both-terminal alcohol whose boiling point is not lower than 180°C and polyalkylene glycol monomethyl ether. A total content of the water and the organic solvent in the maintenance liquid is not smaller than 85 mass%, and the maintenance liquid does not substantially include a surfactant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ノズル面の払拭性、メンテナンス後のインクの吐出性、およびメンテナンス液の廃液でのインクの非凝集性に優れる、ラテックスインクを用いて印刷を行なうインクジェット記録装置のメンテナンス方法を提供する。【解決手段】保液性を有するワイパー部材に、メンテナンス液を付着させる工程と、インクジェット記録装置のインクヘッドのラテックスインクを吐出する吐出口が設けられたノズル面を、メンテナンス液が付着したワイパー部材で拭く工程とを包含し、メンテナンス液が、水と、プロピレングリコール、沸点180℃以上の両末端アルコール、およびポリアルキレングリコールモノメチルエーテルからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の有機溶剤を含有し、メンテナンス液中における水および有機溶剤の合計含有量が85質量%以上であり、メンテナンス液が、界面活性剤を実質的に含有しない。【選択図】図1 |
