FRAME CONVERTER DEVICE

To reduce influences upon transmission bands without missing information of LLID.SOLUTION: A frame converter device comprises: a first communication part for receiving a first frame including in a preamble identification information that is previously allocated to a subscriber line termination device by a subscriber line terminal apparatus which is connected to the frame converter device or integrated with the frame converter device; a frame converter part for detecting the identification information from the preamble of the first frame, providing an additional field at a predetermined position in a second frame that does not include identification information in a preamble, the additional field at such a minimum size that identification information in a size of maximum two bytes is not missed, writing the detected identification information into the additional field and generating the second frame including the identification information; and a second communication part for transmitting the second frame including the identification information to the subscriber line terminal apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ＬＬＩＤの情報を欠落させることなく、伝送帯域への影響を軽減させること。【解決手段】自装置に接続又は自装置と一体化された加入者線端局装置によって、加入者線終端装置に対して予め割り当てられた識別情報をプリアンブルに含む第１のフレームを受信する第１の通信部と、第１のフレームのプリアンブルから識別情報を検出して、プリアンブルを変換することにより得られる、識別情報をプリアンブルに含まない第２のフレームに、最大２バイトの大きさの識別情報を欠落させない最小限の大きさの追加フィールドを予め定められた位置に設け、検出した識別情報を追加フィールドに書き込み、識別情報を含む第２のフレームを生成するフレームコンバータ部と、識別情報を含む第２のフレームを加入者線端局装置に送信する第２の通信部と、を備える。【選択図】図１
