Zusammenfassung:To provide a liquid surface detector that can suppress reduction in the volume of the liquid stored in a storage and can also restrain the resistance of flowing of a fluid, and a fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 has a liquid surface detector 50 which is allowed to detect the liquid surface in a storage 41 in such a manner that a sensor substrate 52 in the shape of a thin plate provided with a detector 53 detecting changes of heat fluxes on a surface 521 is set on the inner surface wall 421 of the storage 41. The controller 100 in the fuel cell system 1 is configured to discharge water stored in the storage 41 by controlling opening/closing of a discharge valve 37 on the basis of the result of detection of the liquid surface detector 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】貯留部における貯液容積の減少を抑えると共に、流体の流通抵抗を抑えることが可能な液位検知装置、および燃料電池システムを提供する。【解決手段】燃料電池システム1は、表面521に熱流束の変化を検出する検出部53が設けられた薄板状のセンサ基板52を貯留部41の内壁面421に設置することで貯留部41の液位を検知可能となっている水位検知装置50を備える。また、燃料電池システム1の制御装置100は、水位検知装置50の検知結果に基づく排出弁37の開閉制御によって、貯留部41に貯留された水を排出する構成となっている。【選択図】図1
