To provide an example of a door device to solve the problem in which because a sash 1 of a sliding door or the like is not closed completely, the sash 1 may be left in a state of stopping near the closing position.SOLUTION: This invention comprises an engaged part 13 and a release mechanism 15. The engaged part 13 is connected to a dumper 11, and engages with an engagement part 1A provided in the sash 1 when the sash 1 is displaced from the opening state to the closing state. Also, the engaged part 13 is displaced together with the sash 1 while engaging with the engagement part 1A, and displaces a rod 11B to a cylinder 11A in response to the displacement.
