Zusammenfassung:To provide a coating method and a coating device which can accurately coat a conveyed base material with a coating material without vibrating the base material, and can carry out high-quality coating.SOLUTION: A coating method simultaneously coats a single or a plurality of coated regions of a base material 2 in a width direction on both surfaces of a thin-film long base material 2 conveyed in a longitudinal direction with coating agents 12, 22 in a longitudinal direction of the base material 2. Both of the surfaces of the base material 2 are coated with the coating agents 12, 22 with an opposite surface of the base material 2 as a free body by using gravure rolls 13, 23 having diameters of 10-50 mm. Coating is carried out while controlling a conveyed state of the base material 2 by adjusting press force acting on a thickness direction of the base material 2 from the respective gravure rolls 13, 23, which are separately arranged in the longitudinal direction of the base material 2, with respect to the base material 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】搬送されている基材を振動させないで精度よく塗工材を塗工することを可能として、高品質な塗工を施すことができる塗工方法および塗工装置を提供すること。【解決手段】長手方向に搬送されている薄膜状の長尺な基材2の両面に対して、当該基材2の幅方向の単数または複数の塗工領域において前記基材2の長手方向に塗工剤12、22の塗工を同時に施す塗工方法において、前記基材2の両面のそれぞれにおいて、直径が10〜50mmのグラビアロール13、23を用いて基材2の反対面を自由状体にして前記塗工剤12、22を塗工するとともに、前記基材2の長手方向に離間して配置されている前記各グラビアロール13、23において前記基材2に対して基材2の厚さ方向に作用する押圧力を調整して前記基材2の搬送状態を制御しながら塗工を施すことを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
