PARTICULATE SUBSTANCE DETECTION SYSTEM

To provide a particulate substance detection system that can detect a PM in a short time and can increase the detection accuracy of the PM.SOLUTION: The particulate substance detection system includes: a PM sensor 20 having a detection unit 21 of a PM8; a capacitor 3; a power source 4; and a voltage measurement unit 5. The detection unit 21 includes: a pair of electrodes 2; and a deposition surface 22 that is interposed between the pair of electrodes 2 and on which the PM8 is deposited. The capacitor 3 is connected to the detection unit 21 in serial. The power source 4 applies a direct current voltage to a serial body 10 formed of the detection unit 21 and the capacitor 3.
