The detection unit 21 includes: a pair of electrodes 2; and a deposition surface 22 that is interposed between the pair of electrodes 2 and on which the PM8 is deposited. The capacitor 3 is connected to the detection unit 21 in serial. The power source 4 applies a direct current voltage to a serial body 10 formed of the detection unit 21 and the capacitor 3.
