Zusammenfassung:To produce at low cost pellets including high quality carbon fibers using recycled carbon fibers recovered from waste of carbon fiber-reinforced resin molded articles.SOLUTION: A method of this invention comprises: a step of forming a carbon fiber clod CFC by removing residual adhered matter from recycled carbon fibers CFR recovered from waste; a step of automatically feeding a mixture of raw pellets PM and the carbon fiber clod CFC into an irregular twin-screw extruding apparatus 13; a step of forming a resin molten solution including carbon fibers uniformly by causing the raw pellets to be melted while kneading the mixture fed into the irregular twin-screw extruding apparatus 13; a step of extruding the resin molten solution from the irregular twin-screw extruding apparatus 13 and solidifying the solution as strands S; and a step of cutting the strands S to pellets PFC having a predetermined length.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】炭素繊維強化樹脂成形物の廃材から回収されたリサイクル炭素繊維を用いて、高品質な炭素繊維含有ペレットを安価に製造する。【解決手段】廃材から回収されたリサイクル炭素繊維CFRから残存付着物を除去して炭素繊維塊CFCを形成する工程と、原料ペレットPMと炭素繊維塊CFCとの混合物を変則二軸式押出装置13内に自動的に引き込ませる工程と、変則二軸式押出装置13内に引き込ませた混合物を混錬させながら、原料ペレットを溶融させて、炭素繊維を一様に含んだ樹脂溶融液を生成する工程と、変則二軸式スクリュー式押出装置13から前記樹脂溶融液を押出してストランドSとして固化させる工程と、ストランドSを所定長のペレットPFCに切断する工程とを含んでいる。【選択図】図1
