Zusammenfassung:To prevent an LED power supply unit from being destroyed when an AC power source is erroneously connected to an output side of a protection device.SOLUTION: A protection device 20 is provided between an LED power supply unit 10 and an LED load section 11. When an AC power source is erroneously connected to output ends T7 and T8 of the protection device 20, inflow current from the AC power source is prevented from flowing in the power supply unit 10 by a diode D1 for back flow prevention provided in the one output end T7 in the state that the one output end T7 of the protection device 20 is on a high potential side and the other output end T8 is on a low potential side. A switching element FET1 is made nonconductive by a control signal from a transistor Q2 and the inflow current from the AC power source is prevented from flowing in the power supply unit 10 in the state that the one output end T7 of the protection device 20 is on the low potential side and the other output end T8 is on the high potential side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】保護装置の出力側に誤って交流電源を接続した場合に、LED電源装置が破壊されるのを防止すること。【解決手段】LED電源装置10とLED負荷部11との間に保護装置20を設ける。保護装置20の出力端T7、T8に誤って交流電源が接続された場合、保護装置20の一方の出力端T7が高電位側で、他方の出力端T8が低電位側である状態では、一方の出力端T7に設けた逆流阻止用のダイオードD1により交流電源からの流入電流が電源装置10に流入するのを阻止する。保護装置20の一方の出力端T7が低電位側で、他方の出力端T8が高電位側である状態では、トランジスタQ2からの制御信号によりスイッチング素子FET1を非導通にして交流電源からの流入電流が電源装置10に流入するのを阻止する。【選択図】図7
