To provide a cutting device and a program, which can improve cutting speed while holding cutting accuracy of a prescribed level.SOLUTION: A cutting device includes: a cutter which cuts media including images in a set region and a first mark and a second mark sandwiching the set region, which are printed on the basis of image data; a sensor which detects the first mark and the second mark; and a controller which controls the cutter and determines a scanning region of the sensor.
