Zusammenfassung:To provide an optical connector capable of attaining speed-up of communication.SOLUTION: An optical connector 1 comprises: optical fibers 4; lenses 35a that are disposed oppositely to end faces 4a of the optical fibers 4 in an optical axis direction and receive emission light emitted from the end faces 4a; and optical filters 36 that are disposed between the end faces 4a and the lenses 35a and have through holes 36a for transmitting a part of the emission light. When an inner diameter of the through hole 36a of the optical filter 36 is represented as B, a distance from the end face 4a to the optical filter 36 in the optical axis direction is represented as L, a maximum passage light emission angle, smaller than a maximum emission angle α of the emission light, of passage light passing through the through hole 36a is represented as α', and an outer diameter of a core 41 of the optical fiber 4 is represented as 'A', B=2×L×tanα'-A and L>A/tanα'/2 are satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】通信の高速化を図ることができる光コネクタを提供する。【解決手段】光コネクタ1は、光ファイバ4と、光ファイバ4の光軸方向における端面4aと対向して配置され、かつ端面4aから出射される出射光を受光するレンズ35aと、端面4aとレンズ35aとの間に配置され、かつ出射光の一部を通過させる貫通孔36aを有する光学フィルタ36とを備える。光学フィルタ36の貫通孔36aの内径をB、端面4aから光学フィルタ36までの光軸方向における距離をL、出射光の最大出射角αより小さくかつ貫通孔36aを通過する通過光の最大通過光出射角α´、光ファイバ4のコア41の外径をAとすると、B=2×L×tanα´−A、L>A/tanα´/2を満たす。【選択図】図4
