Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat a fuel.SOLUTION: When a needle valve 135 is seated on a valve seat part, a space S2 blocked from a fuel injection hole 131a is formed between the needle valve 135 and a valve seat 137. When the needle valve 135 is separated from the valve seat part, the space S2 is communicated with the fuel injection hole 131a. A fuel is supplied to the space S2. A fuel injection valve 100 comprises a light transmissive member 161 which is disposed in contact with a top face of the valve seat 137. The light transmissive member 161 closes an opening formed from an outer side face of the needle valve 135 and an inner side face of a nozzle body part 131. The valve seat 137 includes an extension passage extending from the space S2 to the light transmissive member 161. A distal end (namely, a light irradiation part 150b) of a light transmission part 150 transmitting a light that is generated by a light source part 120, is disposed at such a position that the inside of the extension passage can be irradiated with the light through the light transmissive member 161.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】燃料を加熱する。【解決手段】ニードル弁135が弁座部に着座したとき、ニードル弁135とバルブシート137との間に「燃料噴射孔131aと遮断された空間S2」が形成される。ニードル弁135が弁座部から離間したとき、空間S2と燃料噴射孔131aとが連通する。空間S2には燃料が供給される。燃料噴射弁100は、バルブシート137の上面に接するように配設された光透過性部材161を備える。光透過性部材161は、ニードル弁135の外側の側面とノズル本体部131の内側の側面とにより形成される開口を閉じる。バルブシート137は、空間S2から光透過性部材161まで伸びる延長通路を備える。光源部120にて発生した光を伝達する光伝達部150の先端(即ち、光照射部150b)は、光透過性部材161を通して延長通路内に光を照射可能な位置に配置される。【選択図】図2
