Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for an engine and a control device for the engine, which can highly accurately detect that deposits are bitten between an intake/exhaust valve and a valve seat during the travel of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A PCM for controlling the engine executes a step of determining whether fuel cut is in progress or not in the state that a fuel injection valve is closed, and a deposit adhesion determination step of determining whether deposits are bitten or not between at least one of the intake valve and the exhaust valve, and the valve seat on the basis of crank angle speed information from a crank angle sensor. Then, the PCM executes the determination of whether the deposits are bitten or not in the deposit adhesion determination step on the basis of the crank angle speed information acquired when the fuel cut is in progress in the state that the fuel injection valve is closed (in a period between a timing tand a timing t).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】車両の走行中において、吸排気バルブとバルブシートとの間へのデポジットの噛み込みを高精度に検出することができるエンジンの制御方法及びエンジンの制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】エンジンを制御するPCMは、燃料噴射弁が閉状態のフューエルカット中であるか否かを判定するステップと、クランク角センサからのクランク角速度情報に基づき、吸気バルブ及び排気バルブの少なくとも一方と、バルブシートとの間へのデポジットの噛み込みの有無を判定するデポジット付着判定ステップと、を実行する。そして、PCMは、デポジット付着判定ステップにおけるデポジットの噛み込みの有無の判定を、燃料噴射弁が閉状態のフューエルカット中(タイミングt4〜タイミングt5の期間中)に取得したクランク角速度情報に基づき実行する。【選択図】図7 |
