PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main spindle device which comprises a workpiece cleaning nozzle, capable of switching a direction of discharging cleaning water, has a short time of switching, and has a compact switching mechanism.SOLUTION: A main spindle device comprises an exterior part, a main spindle, a nozzle, and a contact part: the main spindle being supported to be rotatable in the exterior part, the nozzle being attached at the tip of the main spindle to rotate integrally with the main spindle, having one supply port on the main spindle side, two discharge ports different in discharge direction on the tip side, a branch channel that connects the supply port with the discharge port, and a valve body, the contact part being attached on the exterior part and located on the outer peripheral side of the nozzle to make the nozzle valve body switch the channel by moving an orthogonal direction of the rotation axis of the main spindle, and to make at least one end project from a side face of the nozzle to the outer peripheral side, so that the valve is forced into the nozzle by the contact of a valve body projected part with the contact part to switch the channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 ワークの洗浄用のノズルを備えるものであって、洗浄水の吐出方向が切替可能で、切替時間が短く、かつ切替機構がコンパクトな主軸装置を提供する。【解決手段】 外装部と、主軸と、ノズルと、接触部を備え、主軸は、外装部内で回転可能に支持されており、ノズルは、主軸の先端に取り付けてあり主軸と一体になって回転するものであって、主軸側の一つの供給口と、先端側の吐出方向が異なる二つの吐出口と、供給口と吐出口をつなぐ分岐流路と、分岐流路に設けた弁体を有しており、接触部は、外装部に取り付けてあって、ノズルの外周側に位置しており、ノズルの弁体が、主軸の回転軸の直交方向に移動して流路を切り替えるものであって、少なくとも一端がノズルの側面から外周側に突出するものであり、弁体の突出部分が接触部に接触することで、弁体がノズル内に向けて押し込まれ、流路が切り替えられるものである。【選択図】 図１
