Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slurry for a secondary battery negative electrode, making it possible: to provide a secondary battery electrode arranged to enable the adequate adhesion between a negative electrode active material and a current collector without using a thickener such as CMC; to manufacture a secondary battery low in resistance and superior in cycle characteristic; and to achieve excellent dispersibility and viscosity.SOLUTION: A slurry for a secondary battery negative electrode comprises a granular binder; and a water-soluble binder. The water-soluble binder is a copolymer including an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic monomer unit of 10 wt.% or more and 44 wt.% or less, a (meth)acrylic ester monomer unit of 15 wt.% or more and 65 wt.% or less, and a vinyl acetate monomer unit of 15 wt.% or more and 65 wt.% or less to 100 wt.% of the water-soluble binder.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】本発明は、CMCのような増粘剤を使用することなく負極活物質と集電体との十分な密着性が達成可能な二次電池電極を提供でき、しかも、低抵抗でサイクル特性にも優れる二次電池を作製することができ、また、優れた分散性や粘性も達成可能な二次電池負極用スラリーを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】粒子状バインダー及び水溶性バインダーを含む二次電池負極用スラリーであり、前記水溶性バインダーが、その水溶性バインダー100重量%に対して、エチレン性不飽和カルボン酸単量体単位を10重量%以上44重量%以下と、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体単位を15重量%以上65重量%以下と、酢酸ビニル単量体単位を15重量%以上65重量%以下と、を含む共重合体である、二次電池負極用スラリー。【選択図】なし
