PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a money processing apparatus capable of easily executing the operation of putting coins into a coin slot on a coin changer after arranging coins in lines.SOLUTION: The money processing apparatus of the embodiment comprises: a housing; a coin slot which is provided in the housing and receives input coins; and a coin placing part provided in the housing and having a concave shape, which has a bottom surface part provided with a coin placing surface on which coins to be subjected to payment processing and to be received by the coin slot are temporally placed, the coin placing surface being connected to the coin slot in the width direction of the housing, the coin placing part allowing coins placed in the coin placing surface to slide toward the coin slot.
