The processing unit 23 determines a time change amount of the deterioration index on the basis of the duration of use of the battery 11 and the measurement value of the deterioration index, determines a prediction function of the deterioration index for each battery on the basis of the time change amount of the deterioration index and determines a prediction value of the deterioration index on the basis of the prediction function of the deterioration index to diagnose a life of the battery 11 on the basis of the prediction value of the deterioration index.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
