Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of a clearance between a stiffening pipe inner surface and a yield strength reduction part of a brace.SOLUTION: This damper has: a steel brace material that is provided with a yield strength reduction part of an H-shaped section having a tensile strength and a compressive strength smaller than those of both ends in an axial intermediate part; a stiffening pipe that surrounds the brace material; and a stiffening member that is placed over the yield strength reduction part so as to cover the flange surface and the flange side surface of the yield strength reduction part, and forms a prescribed clearance between the yield strength reduction part and the inner surface of the stiffening pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
