PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which can reliably perform the disconnection and connection of a connection part of a recording head with a part to be connected on a recording device body part side for making the recording head perform a recording operation by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A moving part 11 which carries a recording head 15 and moves it in an approaching and separating direction to be close to or separated from a recording medium is provided. In the moving part 11, a lock lever 27 for detachably fixing the recording head 15 is provided. In replacing the recording head 15, the recording head 15 is detached by cancelling the head lock lever 27 and pulling out a recording unit 1 from the moving part 11. Then, after a new recording head 15 is mounted, and the recording unit 1 is returned to the moving part 11, the recording head 15 is fixed on the moving part 11 by operating the head lock lever 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】記録ヘッドの接続部と、記録ヘッドに記録動作を行わせるための記録装置本体側の被接続部との接続解除および接続が、簡単な構成で且つ確実に行うことができ記録装置を提供する。【解決手段】記録ヘッド１５を担持して記録媒体に対し接近および離間する接離方向に移動させる移動部１１を設ける。移動部１１には記録ヘッド１５を着脱可能に固定するロックレバー２７が設けられ、記録ヘッド１５の交換の際には、ヘッドロックレバー２７を解除して移動部１１から記録ユニット１を引き出して記録ヘッド１５を取り外す。そして、新たな記録ヘッド１５を装着し、記録ユニット１を移動部１１に戻した後、ヘッドロックレバー２７を操作することで記録ヘッド１５を移動部１１に固定する。【選択図】図２
