PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding machine utilizing a tailstock whose structure can be simplified.SOLUTION: A tailstock 30 comprises: a first body 110 which is mounted with a center 100; and a second body 120 which can move in a rotation axis-line direction of a workpiece W with respect to the first body 110, can move in the rotation axis-line direction of the workpiece W with respect to a head 10, and is driven by a tailstock driving device 73, so that the second body 120 pressurizes the first body 110 in a direction in which the body is made approach the workpiece W. The first body 110 comprises: a first body base 111 to which a first slider 32a is fixed; and a first body extending part 112 which is positioned away from the rotation axis-line direction of the workpiece W with respect to the first slider 32a, and which extends upward from an end surface in a rotation axis-line direction of the workpiece W, of the first body base 111, and supports a center 100, at a position upper than an upper surface of the first body base 111.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】構造を簡素化できる心押台を用いた研削盤を提供すること。【解決手段】心押台３０は、センタ１００が取り付けられる第一本体１１０と、第一本体１１０に対して工作物Ｗの回転軸線方向へ相対移動可能であり、ベッド１０に対して工作物Ｗの回転軸線方向へ移動可能であり、且つ、心押台駆動装置７３によって駆動され、第一本体１１０を工作物Ｗに近づける方向へ押圧する第二本体１２０と、を備える。第一本体１１０は、第一スライダ３２ａが固定される第一本体ベース１１１と、第一スライダ３２ａに対して工作物Ｗの回転軸線方向から外れた位置にあり、第一本体ベース１１１の工作物Ｗの回転軸線方向の端面から上方へ延在し、第一本体ベース１１１の上面よりも上方にてセンタ１００を支持する第一本体延在部１１２と、を備える。【選択図】図７
