The front terminal 8 and the rear terminal 9 are independently housed in one terminal housing groove 6d of a housing 2 in a state separated from each other. Thus, unlike a conventional multi-contact connector, a portion for branching into a front contact part and a rear contact part can be eliminated so that it is unnecessary to provide an area for housing such a branch portion in the housing 2. 【課題】ワイピング機能を有する多接点コネクタを小型化する。【解決手段】多接点コネクタ１は、フロント端子８とリア端子９を有する。フロント端子８とリア端子９はハウジング２の１つの端子収容溝６ｄに相互に分離した状態で独立して収容される。これにより従来の多接点コネクタの端子のように、フロント接点部とリア接点部とに分岐する部分がなく、ハウジング２にそのような分岐部分を収容する部位が不要であるため、多接点コネクタ１を小型化できる。【選択図】図３ |
