Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a PCB-containing material that can treat the PCB-containing material efficiently with less energy.SOLUTION: A method for treating a PCB-containing material includes the steps in which a PCB-containing material is dismantled, at least a copper-based member and an iron-based member are separated, and the resultant copper-based member is heated to volatilize PCB attached to the copper-based member; and exhaust gas generated in heating processing is heated to render the PCB harmless.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】少ないエネルギーで効率良くＰＣＢ含有物を処理することが可能なＰＣＢ含有物の処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】ＰＣＢ含有物を解体し、少なくとも銅系部材と鉄系部材とを選別することにより得られた銅系部材を加熱し、銅系部材に付着したＰＣＢを揮発させることと、加熱処理で発生した排ガスを加熱し、ＰＣＢを無害化させることとを含むＰＣＢ含有物の処理方法である。【選択図】図１
