Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress reverberation with a simple configuration, make it a compact and economical device, and detect an object with high spatial resolution from a close range by an ultrasonic sensor.SOLUTION: The transmitter includes: an ultrasonic resonator vibrating in an ultrasonic region and having a piezoelectric material 1 and two electrodes 2a, 2b sandwiching the piezoelectric material 1; and an excitation signal source 4 for applying an ultrasonic excitation signal to the electrodes 2a, 2b. At the same time or before or after shutting off an ultrasonic excitation signal to the piezoelectric material 1 (electrodes 2a, 2b), by connecting an electrical load of a resistance element 7 or variable resistance element between the electrodes 2a, 2b, reverberation vibration after shutting off the ultrasonic excitation signal is suppressed. The transmitter may be applied to an ultrasonic sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】簡易な構成で残響を抑制し、小型で経済的な装置とすることができ、また超音波センサにおいては至近距離から高い空間分解能で物体を検出する。【解決手段】圧電材1及びこの圧電材1を挟む2つの電極2a,2bを有し超音波領域で振動する超音波共振器と、電極2a,2bに超音波励起信号を印加する励起信号源4とを含む送信器で、圧電材1(電極2a,2b)への超音波励起信号を遮断すると同時又はその前後に、抵抗素子7又は可変抵抗素子の電気的負荷を電極2a,2b間に接続することにより、超音波励起信号遮断後の残響振動を抑制する。この送信器は、超音波センサに適用することができる。【選択図】図1 |
