FIXING NUT CAP AND SHAFT END SUPPORT STRUCTURE

To provide a fixing nut cap that can prevent entry of abrasion powder that is emitted in a threadedly engaging part of a fixing nut for fixing a bearing to a rotation shaft, and to provide a shaft end support structure.SOLUTION: Fixing nut caps 15, 16 cover fixing nuts 13, 14 for fixing bearings 3, 4 for supporting a rotation shaft 2 in the vicinity of a shaft end by threadedly engaging with male screw parts 2a, 2b of the rotation shaft 2. The fixing nut caps 15, 16 include: peripheral wall parts 15a, 16a fitted to outer peripheral surfaces of the fixing nuts 13, 14; and bottom wall parts 15b, 16b formed continuously to the peripheral wall part 15a, 16a and covering at least end surface outer peripheral parts of the fixing nuts 13, 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】軸受を回転軸に固定する固定ナットの螺合部分で発生する摩耗粉が軸受に侵入することを防止できる固定ナットキャップおよび軸端支持構造を提供する。【解決手段】回転軸２を軸端近傍で支持する軸受３，４を回転軸２の雄ねじ部２ａ，２ｂに螺合して固定する固定ナット１３，１４を覆う固定ナットキャップ１５，１６である。固定ナットキャップ１５，１６は、固定ナット１３，１４の外周面に嵌合する周壁部１５ａ，１６ａ、およびこの周壁部１５ａ，１６ａに続いて形成されて固定ナット１３，１４の少なくとも端面外周部を覆う底壁部１５ｂ，１６ｂを有する。【選択図】図１
