In the step, an electroconductive polymer disperse medium includes at least: (A) electroconductive polymer; (B) colloidal silica; (C) a chemical compound having reactivity with a silanol group; and (D) a disperse medium. The manufacturing method of the solid electrolytic capacitor includes the step of forming the electroconductive polymer layer on the dielectric oxide membrane by at least partially removing the above (D) after the electroconductive polymer disperse medium is contacted onto the dielectric oxide membrane.SELECTED DRAWING: None
