ELECTRIC CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which is capable of easily pulling a contact out of an accommodation chamber and sufficiently secures reliability of an electrical connection with a mating contact.SOLUTION: An insulative receptacle housing 120 defines an accommodation chamber 121 of which both ends are opened. In a conductive receptacle contact 130 that is accommodated in the accommodation chamber 121, an enclosure part 130b enclosing a plug contact 230 includes an elastic piece 135 consisting of a cantilever beam of which a free end faces an opening of a front end FS of the accommodation chamber 121. In the elastic piece 135, a through-hole 136 to be fitted with a housing lance 122 protruding from an inner wall surface of the accommodation chamber 121 is formed for blocking drop-off of the receptacle contact 130. In a state where the housing lance 122 is fitted into the through-hole 136, a top part 122b of the housing lance 122 is positioned at an outside of an inner surface of the elastic piece 135 facing the plug contact 230.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】収容室からのコンタクトの抜き取りを容易に行え、かつ相手コンタクトとの電気的な接触の信頼性が充分に確保された電気コネクタを提供する。【解決手段】絶縁性のリセプタクルハウジング１２０は、両端が開口した収容室１２１を画定している。収容室１２１に収容された導電性のリセプタクルコンタクト１３０の、プラグコンタクト２３０を包囲する包囲部１３０ｂは、自由端が収容室１２１の先端ＦＳの開口に臨んでいる片持ち梁によって構成された弾性片１３５を有する。弾性片１３５には、リセプタクルコンタクト１３０の抜けを阻止するために、収容室１２１の内壁面から突出したハウジングランス１２２と嵌合する貫通孔１３６が形成されている。貫通孔１３６にハウジングランス１２２が嵌合された状態において、ハウジングランス１２２の頂部１２２ｂが、弾性片１３５のプラグコンタクト２３０に面する内面よりも外側の位置にある。【選択図】図７
