Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst converter support structure of an exhaust pipe which is effective for vehicle body vibration while securing the easiness of the assembling and removal of a catalyst converter, simple in a structure and reducible in a size.SOLUTION: An intermediate part of an exhaust pipe 54 for connecting a cylinder head and a muffler is divided, and an outer cylinder 92 constituting a catalyst converter 57 for purifying exhaust emission by a catalyst is arranged so as to straddle end faces 81c, 82c of the exhaust pipe 54. Then, a front diameter-expanded part 81b for fixing one end part of the outer cylinder 92 is arranged at either (front exhaust pipe 81) of the front exhaust pipe 81 and a rear exhaust part 82 in front and ahead of the end faces 81c, 82c. The other end part of the outer cylinder 92 is held to the other (rear exhaust pipe 82) of the front exhaust pipe 81 and the rear exhaust pipe 82, and the outer cylinder 92 is detachably attached so as to straddle one front exhaust pipe 81 and the other rear exhaust pipe 82 of the exhaust pipe 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】触媒コンバーターの組立・取外しの容易性を確保しながら車体振動に対して効果的な支持構造とし、また、構造が簡単で、小型化が図れる排気管の触媒コンバーター支持構造を提供する。【解決手段】シリンダヘッドとマフラとを繋ぐ排気管54の途中を分割し、排気を触媒により浄化する触媒コンバーター57を構成する外筒92を排気管54の端面81c,82cに跨るように配置する。更に、端面81c,82c前後の前部排気管81及び後部排気管82の一方(前部排気管81)に外筒92の一端部を固定する前部拡径部81bを設ける。また、前部排気管81及び後部排気管82の他方(後部排気管82)に外筒92の他端部を保持させて、外筒92を排気管54の一方の前部排気管81と他方の後部排気管82とに跨るように着脱自在に取付けた。【選択図】図2 |
