BEARING DEVICE FOR WHEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of improving an effect for stopping slurry and the like by a weir part.SOLUTION: A bearing device 1 for a wheel comprises: an outer ring 2 on an inner periphery of which double rows of outer rolling faces are integrally formed; at least one inner ring 4 fitted with a small-diameter step part 3a; a hub wheel 3 on an outer periphery of which double rows of inner rolling faces are formed; double ball rows 5a, 5b rotatably housed between the rolling faces of the inner ring 2 and the hub ring 3, respectively; and an outer side seal member 9 for sealing a portion between the outer ring 2 and the hub ring 3. An annular weir part 9g constituted by a core metal having a cylindrical part 9a and a disc plate part 9b provided at an opening part of the outer ring 2, and an elastic element provided on the disc plate part 9b, and projecting closer to an outer side than the outer periphery of the outer ring 2 in a radial direction is provided from the disc plate part 9b.
