Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate water from an alkaline water-containing organic compound by using a zeolite membrane.SOLUTION: A method is used to separate water by using a separation membrane from a water-containing organic compound with a pH of 8-13, which preferably has a moisture content of 5 wt.% or more. The water separation method for the alkaline water-containing organic compound is characterized as follows: for example, a pervaporation method is used; a zeolite membrane is used as the separation membrane; and zeolite constituting the zeolite membrane is CHA type zeolite with an SiO/AlOmolar ratio of 5-40.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】ゼオライト膜を用いて、アルカリ性の含水有機化合物からの水の分離を行うこと。【解決手段】ｐＨ８〜１３の、好ましくは含水率が５重量％以上の含水有機化合物から分離膜を用いて水を分離する方法であって、例えばパーベーパレーション法を用いて、前記分離膜としてゼオライト膜を用い、該ゼオライト膜を構成するゼオライトがＳｉＯ２／Ａｌ２Ｏ３モル比が５〜４０であるＣＨＡ型ゼオライトであることを特徴とする、アルカリ性含水有機化合物の水分離方法。【選択図】なし
