PORTABLE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal that can be held by one hand of a user, regardless of the size of the user's hand.SOLUTION: A portable terminal includes equipment case 1, i.e., a terminal body where a key operation part 5 operable with the pollex F1 of a user is provided on the surface provided with a display 4, and a grip part 14 provided at the end of the equipment case 1, and capable of being held with a user's hand across the front face and the rear face of the equipment case 1. On the rear side of the grip part 14, a finger hook part 15 against which the index finger F2 or the middle finger F3 of the user is pressed, and a finger pass band 16 capable of passing the third finger F4 of the user are provided. With such an arrangement, when the user holds the equipment case 1 so as to apply the pollex F1 to the key operation part 5, and to grip the equipment case 1 from the side of the key operation part 5, for operating the key operation part 5 with the pollex F1, the third finger F4 of the holding hand can be passed through the finger pass band 16 and pushed against the finger hook part 15, by pushing the index finger F2 or the middle finger F3 of the holding hand of the user against the finger hook part 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】 ユーザの手の大きさに係わらず、片手で良好に握ることができる携帯端末機を提供する。【解決手段】 表示部４が設けられた表面にユーザの母指Ｆ１で操作可能なキー操作部５が設けられた端末本体である機器ケース１と、この機器ケース１の端部に設けられ、機器ケース１の表面と裏面とに跨ってユーザの手で保持可能なグリップ部１４と、を備え、このグリップ部１４の裏面側に、ユーザの示指Ｆ２または中指Ｆ３が押し当てられる指掛部１５と、ユーザの薬指Ｆ４を通すことが可能な指通しバンド１６と、を備えている。従って、ユーザがキー操作部５を母指Ｆ１で操作すべく、母指Ｆ１をキー操作部５に被せるように、機器ケース１をキー操作部５の脇から片手で掴むように機器ケース１を保持するときに、ユーザの保持手の示指Ｆ２または中指Ｆ３を指掛部１６に押し当てて、保持手の薬指Ｆ４を指通しバンド１６に通して指掛部１５に押し当てることができる。【選択図】 図３
