When boost pressure reaches a prescribed first boost pressure threshold P1 or higher, a valve overlap amount is increased according to an acceleration requirement (step S5). By this constitution, the inside of a cylinder can be scavenged even if the valve overlap amount is increased according to the acceleration requirement in the acceleration transient period by forcibly executing supercharge by the electric supercharger in the acceleration transient period. Acceleration performance can be thereby improved from an initial stage of supercharge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】加速過渡期における加速性能を向上させる。【解決手段】非過給領域から過給領域となる加速過渡期である場合には、電動過給機による過給を開始する(ステップS3)。そして、過給圧が所定の第1過給圧閾値P1以上になると、加速要求に応じてバルブオーバーラップ量を増加させる(ステップS5)。これにより、加速過渡期に電動過給機により強制的に過給を実行することで、過給初期段階から加速要求に応じてバルブオーバーラップ量を大きくしても筒内の掃気が可能となる。そのため、過給初期段階から加速性能を向上させることができる。【選択図】図2 |
