【課題】 高い上限温度、低い下限温度、小さな粘度、適切な光学異方性、大きな誘電率異方性などの特性において、少なくとも1つの特性を充足する、または少なくとも2つの特性に関して適切なバランスを有する液晶組成物、およびこの組成物を含むAM素子を提供する。【解決手段】 第一成分として負に大きな誘電率異方性を有する特定の化合物、第二成分として負の誘電率異方性を有する特定の化合物を含有し、第三成分として負の誘電率異方性および高い上限温度を有する特定の化合物、第四成分として上限温度または粘度の調整を行う特定の化合物、または添加物成分として重合性基を有する特定の化合物を含有してもよい液晶組成物である。【選択図】 なし |
