Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for estimating at least one route on which a vehicle may travel in near future, for use by an advanced drive assistance system (ADAS) of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The method for forming an estimable range for use by an ADAS 1 of a vehicle includes: using digital place-dependent data, driver data and vehicle data for determining selection likelihood of different branch paths at a determination point along the classification of a road where the vehicle currently travels; and extracting a selection probability of each branch path. The probability is based on at least one of a history of a branch path selected by the vehicle at the determination point on the basis of an angle of the branch path relative to an approach path, a road class of the branch path, and a speed profile of the branch path and a history of a branch path selected by a driver or the vehicle at the determination point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
