PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional art.SOLUTION: A detachable accessory for a saddle riding-type vehicle includes a latch assembly which is supported by a side plate and has a latch member and a handle. The latch member has a latch part with a hook and a slender part. The latch member is supported by a fixed pivot positioned at the side plate to rotate between a latch position and a latch releasing position. The handle is supported by the slender part, and an end part of the handle is energized in a first direction so as to follow a rear edge of the side plate and form a detent mechanism. The detent mechanism includes: a male detent member, a first reception which receives the male detent member and holds the latch member at the latch releasing position; and a second reception which receives the male detent member and holds the latch member at the latch position. The first reception is shallower than the second reception.
