JACK-UP POINT PROTECTOR AND COVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack-up point protector that can directly protect a jack-up point, prevent the point from easily getting rusted by calcium salt and sea water, and prevent the jack-up point from being damaged by a fly rock and the like.SOLUTION: In a protector main body C that covers a jack-up point positioned at a press line through which a side sill of a vehicle body is jointed to a chassis is formed with a groove having a nearly U-shaped cross section or a groove having a nearly V-shaped cross section which penetrates through both ends in a longitudinal direction, where the groove is fitted to the press line having a protruding part protruding downward. The protector main body is covered with covers A and B which are fitted and mounted on both ends in the longitudinal direction of the protector main body C and then fixed. If it is hard to find where the jack-up point is, a desirable mark can be put on the protector main body C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】ジャッキアップポイントを直接的に保護し、塩カルや海水などで錆やすくなるのを防ぐことができ、ジャッキアップポイントを飛石などで傷付かないようにする。【解決手段】車体のサイドシルとシャーシとを接合するプレスラインに位置するジャッキアップポイントを覆うプロテクター本体Ｃは、長手方向の両端を貫く断面略Ｕ字型の溝又は断面略ひの字型の溝が形成されていて、下方に突出する凸部を有するプレスラインに溝を嵌合する。プロテクター本体は、プロテクター本体Ｃの長手方向の両端に嵌合して取り付けるカバーＡ，Ｂを被せて固定する。また、ジャッキアップポイントがどこなのか分かりにくいという場合に、プロテクター本体Ｃに所望する目印をつけることができる。【選択図】図４
