Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage or running off of a cap body from a can body even when decreasing thickness of the cap body, and deformation at a mouthpiece part when forming a female screw part.SOLUTION: A cap shell molding die 1 with a die body 2 where a die hole 2a is formed is given in which a metal plate is subjected to drawing work between the die and a punch inserted into the die hole 2a, thereby molding a bottomed cylindrical cap shell manufactured in the cap. A cross ridge line part between an inner peripheral surface 2b of the die hole 2a and an edge face 2c of the die body 2 facing an insertion direction F of the punch includes a convex-curved chamfering part 2d formed at a cross section along a center line O of the die hole 2a. With respect to the convex curve of the chamfering part 2d, a curvature radius R1 of the convex curve at a contact point between the convex curve and the edge face 2c of the die body 2 is larger than a curvature radius R2 of the convex curve at a contact point between the convex curve and the inner peripheral surface 2b of the die hole 2a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】キャップ本体を薄肉化しても、漏れを生じたり缶本体から外れたりするのを防ぐとともに雌ネジ部を形成するときに口金部に変形が生じるのを防止する。【解決手段】ダイ孔2aが形成されたダイ本体2を備え、ダイ孔2aに挿入されるパンチとの間で金属板を絞り加工することにより、キャップに製造される有底筒状のキャップシェルを成形するキャップシェル成形用ダイ1であって、ダイ孔2aの内周面2bと、パンチの挿入方向Fに対向するダイ本体2の端面2cとの交差稜線部には、ダイ孔2aの中心線Oに沿った断面において凸曲線状をなす面取部2dが形成され、この面取部2dがなす凸曲線は、この凸曲線とダイ本体2の端面2cとの接点における凸曲線の曲率半径R1が、この凸曲線とダイ孔2aの内周面2bとの接点における凸曲線の曲率半径R2よりも大きくされる。【選択図】図1
