Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plugged honeycomb structure excellent in collection performance and capable of suppressing generation of variations of pressure loss after carrying a catalyst for exhaust gas purification.SOLUTION: A plugged honeycomb structure has a columnar honeycomb structure 4 having a porous barrier 1 and a plugged part 5 arranged on one of aperture of a cell 2, pore diameter D10 with cumulative pore volume of 10% of 6 μm or more in cumulative pore volume of the barrier 1 measured by a mercury penetration method and pore diameter D90 with cumulative pore volume of 90% of 58 μm or less and satisfies a relationship of the following formula (1). Formula (1):0.35≤(D70-D30)/D50≤1.5, wherein D30, D50 and D70 represent values of pore diameter with cumulative pore volume of 30%, 50% and 70% respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】捕集性能に優れるとともに、排気ガス浄化用の触媒の担持後における、圧力損失のばらつきの発生を抑制することが可能な目封止ハニカム構造体を提供する。【解決手段】多孔質の隔壁1を有する柱状のハニカム構造部4と、セル2のいずれか一方の開口部に配設された目封止部5と、を備え、水銀圧入法によって測定された隔壁1の累積細孔容積において、累積細孔容積が10%となる細孔径D10が、6μm以上であり、累積細孔容積が90%となる細孔径D90が、58μm以下であり、且つ、下記式(1)の関係を満たす。式(1):0.35≦(D70−D30)/D50≦1.5(但し、式(1)において、D30,D50,D70は、累積細孔容積が30%,50%,70%となる細孔径の値をそれぞれ示す。)【選択図】図1 |
