COVERING AND PRODUCTION METHOD OF COVERING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which surely prevents a seam allowance of covering, forming a second stitch, from becoming too thick where a first stitch and the second stitch are crossing.SOLUTION: A covering, whose first covering piece SP1 has its seam allowance SM5 getting crossed with seam allowances SM1 and SM2 of first covering piece components 21a and 21b respectively, has: a supporting part 40, where the seam allowances SM1 and SM2 of the first covering piece components 21a and 21b respectively, crossing with the seam allowance SM5 of the first covering piece SP1, are maintained as being laid down to the seam allowance SM5 of the first covering piece SP1: and a second stitch part ST2a which goes across the seam allowances SM1 and SM2 of the first covering piece components 21a and 21b respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】第一ステッチ部と第二ステッチ部を交差状に形成する構成において、第二ステッチ部の形成箇所となる表皮部分の縫い代に過度の肉厚部分が生じることをより確実に阻止することにある。【解決手段】第一表皮ピースＳＰ１の縫い代ＳＭ５が、各第一表皮片２１ａ，２１ｂの縫い代ＳＭ１，ＳＭ２に交差した状態で設けられている表皮において、第一表皮ピースＳＰ１の縫い代ＳＭ５に、第一表皮ピースＳＰ１の縫い代ＳＭ５と交差している各第一表皮片２１ａ，２１ｂの縫い代ＳＭ１，ＳＭ２部分を倒した状態で維持している維持部４０と、各第一表皮片２１ａ，２１ｂの縫い代ＳＭ１，ＳＭ２部分を横断している第二ステッチ部ＳＴ２ａとが設けられている。【選択図】図７
