PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual identification device capable of more improving security than a conventional manner.SOLUTION: An individual identification device 100 comprises: a detection part 30 for detecting at least one of fingerprint information, palm print information and hand blood vessel shape information of a user 90; an extraction part 41 for extracting a feature point of the user 90 from a detection result of the detection part 30; a storage part 42 for storing the feature point extracted by the extraction part 41 for each individual; an individual specification part 43 for specifying the user 90 by comparing the feature point extracted by the extraction part 41 with the feature point stored by the storage part 42; and a cylindrical grip 10 to be gripped by the user 90 such that a finger belly 51b of an end joint 51a of the thumb 51 comes into contact with an upper end part 10a, and that the fingers other than the thumb 51 come into contact with a side face part 10b.
