Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater enabling a user to operate an operation lever for an earth leakage circuit breaker safely and also enabling a work contractor to perform a power supply connection work safely and efficiently.SOLUTION: A water heater 100 includes an outer fence case 1a, a window part 95 arranged at a part of the outer fence case 1a to communicate the inside part and the outside part of the outer fence case 1a, a lid part 70 covering the window part, and an earth leakage circuit breaker 20 stored at a position corresponding to the window 95 inside the outer fence case 1a. The lid part 70 is fixed to the window part 95 by removable fixing means under application of a tool. The lid part 70 has an opening or closing part 30 that can be opened or closed without using any tool. When the lid part 70 is removed from the window part 95, a terminal part 22 of the earth breakage circuit breaker 20 can be acknowledged from outside and when the opening or closing part 30 is opened under a fixed state of the lid part 70 to the window part 95, the terminal part 22 of the earth breakage circuit breaker 20 cannot be visually acknowledged from outside and the operation lever 21 of the earth circuit breaker 20 can be visually acknowledged from outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】使用者が安全に漏電遮断器の操作レバーの操作が可能で、且つ、工事業者も安全で効率的な電源接続工事が行える給湯機を得ること。【解決手段】外郭ケース1aと、外郭ケース1aの一部に設けられ、外郭ケース1aの内部と外部とを連通する窓部95と、窓部を覆うフタ部70と、外郭ケース1a内部の窓部95に対応する位置に内蔵された漏電遮断器20と、を有する給湯機100において、フタ部70は、窓部95に対し工具を用いて着脱可能な取り付け手段にて取り付けられており、フタ部70には、工具を用いずに開閉可能な開閉部30を有し、フタ部70を窓部95から外したとき、漏電遮断器20の端子部22が外部から視認可能であり、フタ部70を窓部95に取り付けた状態で開閉部30を開いたとき、漏電遮断器20の端子部22が外部から視認できず、かつ漏電遮断器20の操作レバー21が外部から視認できるように構成した。【選択図】 図2
