NUCLEAR FUEL STORAGE EQUIPMENT AND NUCLEAR FUEL STORAGE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for prevention of complicated behavior of a nuclear fuel storage rack upon earthquake.SOLUTION: Nuclear fuel storage equipment comprises: spent fuel storage racks 31 in each of which a plurality of cells storing, one by one, spent fuel assemblies stored in a spent fuel storage pool 12 are disposed; a plurality of common bases 51 which are disposed in the spent fuel storage pool 12 and on each of which a plurality of spent fuel storage racks 31 are placed and held in a fixed condition. The common bases 51 are supported by the spent fuel storage pool 12 by means of cushioning members 53 for the common bases disposed between the adjacent common bases and between pool side walls 52 of the spent fuel storage pool and the common bases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 【課題】地震時における核燃料貯蔵ラックの複雑な挙動を防ぐことができること。【解決手段】使用済燃料貯蔵プール１２に保管される使用済燃料集合体を一体ずつ収納するセルが複数配置された使用済燃料貯蔵ラック３１を備え、それぞれが複数体の使用済燃料貯蔵ラック３１を固定状態で載置するコモンベース５１を使用済燃料貯蔵プール１２に複数配置してなり、コモンベース５１は、隣接するコモンベースとの間、及び使用済燃料貯蔵プールのプール側壁５２との間に配置されたコモンベース用緩衝部材５３により使用済燃料貯蔵プール１２に支持されるものである。【選択図】図１０
