Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner capable of preventing clogging of an opening thereof caused by slag.SOLUTION: A burner 30 comprises a tip 37 extending approximately in the horizontal direction to protrude inside a furnace to introduce fuel from openings 38a and 39a into the furnace, and a recessed part 21 provided on the upper part of the tip 37. The recessed part 21 is disposed on a position away from the openings 38a and 39a by a prescribed distance and equipped with a pair of outflow passages heading downward. A water jacket pipe 40 is wound around the tip 37 of the burner 30. The recessed part 21 is formed by a water jacket pipe 40b of a smaller winding diameter disposed around the tip 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
