PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window sash capable of avoiding water entry by preventing a vertical frame from lifting from a lower frame.SOLUTION: In a window sash 1 of the present invention, a lower frame 17 has an outdoor side vertical wall 17b, an indoor side vertical wall 17a, and a batten engaging piece 17c which erects upward from a surface in a depth direction between the outdoor side vertical wall and the indoor side vertical wall and has a batten engaging part 16 formed at an upper end part. A batten supporting part 18 projecting into an indoor side is provided at an upper end part of the outdoor side vertical wall. A tight material holder 20 is provided in a longitudinal direction of an outdoor side surface of the indoor side vertical wall. A batten 22 is mounted on the batten supporting part 18 and engaged with the batten engaging part 16 to hold a panel 7a in a direction toward the indoor side vertical wall 17a. At a vertical frame mounting position of the lower frame 17, the batten engaging piece 17c, the tight material holder 20, and the batten supporting part 18 are removed and a lower end part of a vertical frame 21 is inserted between the outdoor side vertical wall and the indoor side vertical wall, and also, the lower end part of the vertical frame 21 is fastened on the outdoor side vertical wall 17b with a screw 65.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 【課題】 下枠に対する縦骨の浮き上がりを防止することで、水の浸入を防止できるサッシを提供する。【解決手段】 本発明にかかるサッシ１において、下枠１７は、室外側縦壁１７ｂと、室内側縦壁１７ａと、室外側縦壁と室内側縦壁との間で見込面から上方に立設して上端部に押縁係止部１６を設けた押縁係止片１７ｃとを有し、室外側縦壁の上端部には室内側へ突設する押縁支持部１８が設けてあり、室内側縦壁には室外側面の長手方向に亘ってタイト材ホルダ２０が設けてあり、押縁２２は、押縁支持部１８に載置して押縁係止部１６に係止してあり、パネル７ａを室内側縦壁１７ａに向けて押さえており、下枠１７の縦骨取付位置には、押縁係止片１７ｃとタイト材ホルダ２０と押縁支持部１８を切除して、室外側縦壁と室内側縦壁との間に縦骨２１の下端部を挿入してあると共に縦骨２１の下端部を室外側縦壁１７ｂにねじ６５で固定してある。【選択図】図１１
