Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision detection device which enables a reduction of the number of components to simplify a configuration.SOLUTION: A collision detection device is mounted on a vehicle 1 including a bumper cover 2 having a front surface part 3 positioned at a vehicle front side, side surface parts 4 positioned at a vehicle lateral side, and bending parts 5 each having a curvature radius smaller than those of the front surface part 3 and the side surface part 4. The collision detection device includes: piezoelectric sensors 20, each of which is attached to the bending part 5 of a rear surface of the bumper cover 2; and a signal processing part 30 which determines that an object collides with the bumper cover 2 on the basis of a signal input from each piezoelectric sensor 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】部品点数を少なくし、構成を簡素にすることの可能な衝突検知装置を提供する。【解決手段】衝突検知装置は、車両前方に位置する正面部3と、車両側方に位置する側面部4と、正面部3および側面部4よりも曲率半径が小さい屈曲部5とを有するバンパカバー2を備えた車両1に搭載される。この衝突検知装置は、バンパカバー2の裏面のうち屈曲部5に取り付けられる圧電センサ20と、その圧電センサ20から入力される信号に基づきバンパカバー2に物体が衝突したことを判定する信号処理部30とを備えている。【選択図】図1 |
