ELECTRONIC COMPONENT WITH ILLUMINATION FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component with an illumination function capable of performing effective illumination, and smooth depressing operation of a press-type electronic component.SOLUTION: An electronic component 1-2 with an illumination function includes a light emitting element 173-2, a light emitting element installation circuit board 250-2 consisting of a flexible circuit board on which the light emitting element 173-2 is installed, a case 150-2 for housing the light emitting element installation circuit board 250-2 on which the light emitting element 173-2 is installed, and a terminal 181-2 attached to the case 150-2 while projecting one end to the outside of the case 150-2 and exposing the other end to a bottom face in the case 150-2. A terminal connection pattern 253-2 is formed at a part extracted from the part where the light emitting element 173-2 of the light emitting element installation circuit board 250-2 is installed.
