Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a crack that generates in the firing process of a magnesia chrome brick.SOLUTION: In a method for producing magnesia chrome fired brick containing MgO and CrOas main components of a refractory raw material, a phenolic resin having a residual carbon ratio of 3% or more and 20% or less by mass is used as much as 0.5 to 5% by weight of original weight as a binder added to the refractory raw material. The main components of the refractory raw material comprises 25 to 85 mass% of MgO, 5 to 55 mass% of CrO, 1 to 14 mass% of AlO, 2 to 17 mass% of FeOand less than 5 mass% of impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】マグネシア−クロム質煉瓦の焼成過程でできる亀裂を抑制する。【解決手段】MgOとCr2O3を耐化原料の主成分とした焼成マグネシア−クロム質煉瓦の製造方法であって、耐化原料にバインダーとして残炭率が3〜20質量%以下のフェノール樹脂を外掛け0.5〜5質量%用いるものである。前記耐化原料の主成分は、MgOを25〜85質量%、Cr2O3を5〜55質量%、Al2O3を1〜14質量%、Fe2O3を2〜17質量%及び不純物を5質量%未満有である。【選択図】なし
